About

My name is Lee Baillie and I'm a Web developer from London, England...

Work

I started in the Web design business about four years ago, at which time I was simply building MySpace pages for my friends. My interest in Web design developed into CSS and XHTML Web sites (I managed to miss the whole ‘build tabular web sites’ era) and I became pretty good at building valid Web sites after a year or so. I started applying for junior Web Design positions late in 2007 and I was lucky enough to be employed by a fantastic company called MintTwist in North London. While there I plan to develop my knowledge further and begin to design back-end sites as well as front-end. I aim to be able to work much more with .NET by the end of 2008. Sounds easy enough…

Personal

I have a boyfriend who I am truly, madly and deeply in love with :-P . He also just happens to be the Science Editor and a regular author for the site. You can read more about him on his authors’ page here.

Social

I love all my friends like there’s no tomorrow. :-)

Now I really do think I’ve told you enough about me. But fear not. If you have become addicted and feel as though you need more, check the links below for some more sites about me. Or keep reading to learn more about my site itself.

MySpace and Facebook. The lower and upper-class social networks. Go me. You’ll find my friends on there as well.

About leebaillie.co.uk

This here is leebaillie.co.uk. It’s nothing special or spectacular. I wanted something quick and simple to gain a personal web presence and an area to keep a blog. I’ve used WordPress software for a few years now and I never fail to be impressed by the sheer brilliance of it and its credibility amongst the small but growing Open Source Community.

Notification Policy

You know when TV channels warn you before a programme starts that you are about to see sexual references, violence, gore, drug and alcohol references or hear heavy language? Well that is the point of LEE BAILLIE’s notification system.

Should an article contain any of the above, (though why it should contain gore I have no idea, but you never know) you’ll see this icon exclamation.png at the top of the article. Then my more sensitive readers will know to avoid the offending article and read something more appropriate!

You should also note that, even though I don’t censor my articles at all, I am conscientious about other Web users and won’t deliberately offend. Should you be so über-offended by an article, don’t forget you can let me know via the comments system!
